Drumming classes at the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance!
PRAA proudly presents to you our November/December Studio Arts workshop! Bomba drumming classes! Celebrating the African influence in Puerto Rico and other countries of the Caribbean, we have partnered with AfriCaribe to teach traditional drumming and dance of several Puerto Rican Bomba rhythms, we will prepare and present various styles of folk music from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean through song, dance, drums and other percussive instruments, please email daniel@praachicago.org for more information. This workshop is for students 12-17 years old.
