PROMOTE BACK TO SCHOOL IN REGION 2!!!

The Department of Family and Support Services has asked that we connect Region 2 agencies to information that will help remind and promote young people to return to school this fall.

We are being asked by Mayor Rahm Emanuel to help with school attendance in three ways:
1. Sending the "template" for agencies to use to inform students and their parents with the dates of when school starts.
2. Posting the CPS school announcement with the start of school dates and making the announcement at their events with a parent population.
3. You can also post/inform the opportunity to volunteer 1 hour on a phone bank for students starting on the 8th of August and the 6th of September 2011. Click here for more information on how to volunteer.

Math instructors needed

the Young People's Projects has a few instructor positions available for this coming fall and would like to begin interviewing candidates soon.

If you know of someone who would be a good candidate please feel free to send them this craigslist link.

We also have a few college student positions that we are looking to fill. These students should have a solid math background.
