The Black Star Project would like to invite youth to partake in their Saturday University program. This is a great opportunity for youth to receive the extra support they need (and deserve) to become successful adults. Saturday University locations are throughout the city and serve a variety of age groups. Classes are FREE!

The Chicago Department of Public Health is issuing a Request for Proposal to potential community-based organizations to create and sustain REALITY Illinois Chapters. A total of $30,000 is available with a plan to fund 6 agencies at $5,000 each for the support of community events in Chicago that provide tobacco control education, prevention and/or cessation to populations and communities at increased risk for tobacco-related disease and death. These populations include, but are not limited to: youth (ages 13-18), including LGBT, African American, Polish, Asian and Latino adolescents.
